Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Lori can soon roll with the wind in comfort! With your generosity, we are certain this can happen soon! As the father of two very special girls that race together with me, I know that the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", the fearlessness of the athletes, the normalcy of the family, and the love we all have for each other is a therapy like no other.
Here is a note from Lori's Aunt:
My name is Elisa Guajardo, I am Captain Lori's aunt. Lori was born with Cerebral Palsy. She has been through a lot for your age. We are grateful that she has proved the doctors wrong and is walking and talking. She is a fighter and shows us everyday.
Lor came to live with me and my parents at the age of 11 after her biological mother got into some trouble. Lori has blossomed into a wonderful active teenager. She loves the competitive side of the races and gets excited when she receives a metal. She loves when her Angel Anthony always makes a detour to pick her a flower. She says it's because "she is special".
I am asking if you can open your hearts and help us help Lori reach her goal she needs to get her own chair.
YES, YOU CAN...donate 20 or 50 dollars right now to ensure the thrill of rolling with the wind and crossing a road race finish line!
