Caring for Kim
Organized by: Olivia Dudley
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:10 NIV)
As our Dear friend Kim suffers through another surgery (total historectomony and removal of a baseball size mass on her cervix) and painful recovery, people have wondered about what they can do to show love to Kim and her family during this time. With a small donation we can help cut out the burden of medical bills which would be such a huge way to come alongside her and James during this difficult time. Her humble heart weeps from the gratitude of the outpour of support, prayers, meals, cards, flowers, donations and love she has received through this hardship. In the same likeness, If you've known Kim for 5 minutes, you have probably personally experienced the lavishing of her love, service and prayers she extends to everyone around! If you have not had the opportunity to meet Kim, she beautifully and vulnerably shares her story of this unexpected journey life has taken her and her family on over the past 2 years. She remains faithful to The Lord, accepting her "lot" as His will and bringing praise and glory to Him making His name famous! #hewins. Check out the link to her blog below, and continue to keep her in your prayers!
"Can I see another's woe,
And not be in sorrow too?
Can I see another's grief,
And not seek for kind relief?"
-William Blake, "On Another's Sorrow"
