Parkinson's Disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder. It primarily affects the basal ganglia of the brain, leading to motor impairments (rigidity, tremors, imprecise movements). Lap the Gats is a fundraising event that generates funds for the Parkinson Research Consortium (PRC), with the goal of finding a much-needed cure for this disease. 100% of the money raised at Lap the Gats will go towards this research.
