A Carnival for underprivileged girls and boys from YCS, (Youth Consultation Service) is being created by a group of dedicated men and women who volunteer their time and energy for these children.
The children at the YCS group homes are separated from their loved ones with many being affected by trauma due to severe neglect, abuse and in some cases, abandonment. Others are affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities that adversely affect their behavior. Many families receive the intensive in-home and community support that enables their families to stay together. A group of these children are able to go to camp for a 2 week period to experience the joy of summer camp and the healing power of nature.
Our carnival is a chance for these children to experience a day with dunk tanks, bounce houses, face painting, popcorn and snow cone machines, games and more.
100 % of your donation will be used to create a fun filled care free day for the kids of YCS. Our goal is to raise a minumum of $2,000. Even a small amount of $10-20 or whatever you can afford would go a long way toward brightening up these children's lives.
Thank you for your support.
