BENEFITING: CATHERINE VIOLET HUBBARD FOUNDATION INC
EVENT DATE: Jul 12, 2014
Catherine Violet Hubbard was a 1st grade student at Sandy Hook Elementary School—and she was my dear friend's niece. Her life, along with the lives of 25 classmates & teachers, was tragically cut short last December 14th.
David and I, along with many of our friends & family, are helping Jenny & Matt Hubbard raise money for the Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation, which is working to make a permanent memorial for Catherine.
Catherine was a huge animal lover. She loved “all creatures great and small.” Catherine would whisper to the butterflies and birds “go tell your friends I am kind.” And, it was true; Catherine was very kind.
To keep Catherine’s memory and love for animals alive, the Hubbard family is going to build the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Newtown, CT. The money we raise will help to create this special place.
On Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 3 pm - 8 pm we will hold our ‘Carnival for a Cause’ event at a private residence in Gates Mills. It will be a fundraising event for families, kids and adults of all ages. We will have lots of fun activities, food & drinks for everyone.
