Carol Riley Family Support

Our neighbor, Carol Riley, lives with three grandchildren, ages 9, 11 and 16 in her small mobile home. She is 78 years old and has been raising her grandchildren for the past 8 years, ever since Carol's daughter and her fiancé were murdered. Carol and her husband, Ed, took the children into their home when two of them were still in diapers. The house is small but they were able to manage. Two years ago, Ed passed away. Carol worked for many years at Texas Instruments and Walmart, but her social security payment is not enough to cover basic bills. She is behind on property taxes and home insurance. It is difficult to pay for utilities and basic home and car repairs. The kids cannot participate in any sports or activities because they cannot afford the equipment, uniforms and fees needed to enroll. She visits a food pantry to supplement the groceries she is able to buy. Carol is proud and has never had to ask anyone for help, but continues to get further behind. We hope to raise enough money to cover taxes, insurance and some basic home repairs. Please help us to support this family!
