BENEFITING: CureSearch for Children’s Cancer
EVENT DATE: Apr 18, 2013
Hello, my name is Sean and I'm a 9 year old Cub Scout who recently lost my Great Aunt Carol. I decided after she passed away that I didn't want anyone else to ever suffer from this disease. I read that the ACS says approximately 7.6 million people die from cancer each year. That 7.6 million includes moms, dads, kids and even great aunts. I want that number to end and no one to ever loose a loved one or a great aunt again because we don't have a cure.
My fund raiser is for research. I want the doctors who work on cancer cures to be able to find the cure for cancer and have all the money they need. I know it may take a while to reach my goal but every dollar that can be donated is a dollar closer to my goal.
I decided to donate the money towards the National Childhood Cancer Foundation because kids are our future. CureSearch for Children's Cancer funds and supports targeted and innovative children's cancer research with measurable results, and is the authoritative source of information and resources for all those affected by children's cancer. Go to www.curesearch.org for more information.
I'm asking for your donations. Please help end cancer. Thank you for viewing my charity fundraiser page.
