THE STORY:

Caroline Laramie wrote -

Salem, MA is my hometown.  I grew up running around Winter Island, with the Plummer Home as the backdrop.  I went to school with boys who lived there.

Despite knowing about the Plummer Home for most of my life, it didn't come to really mean so much until I had kids of my own.  Now I realize the importance of providing a loving, nurturing, happy, real, safe environment for my kids.  And now I realize how devastating it is if a child does not have this.

It's places like the Plummer Home that help even the playing field because really, life should be a place where each child has the same foundation to shine....where every child gets the same start.  So little by little, one kid at a time the Plummer Home is making a difference.  Please help us help them.  Thanks for reading.
