EVENT DATE Sep 26, 2015

Carol has been on quite the medical journey, for the last 4 years she has been to hundreds of emergency rooms and Dr. visits. She has been through so many tests for her illness. On one visit she actually got kicked out of a hospital ER and called a drug seeker. Finally in the ER of a different hospital a nurse gave her a nitro tablet and her pain disappeared. You see Carol was finally diagnosed with esophageal spasms, and i will never forget the first attack she ever had. The spasm feels like she is having a heart attack and totally incapacitates her to the point of almost passing out. All she could do is stand in one place and not move or talk for about a half hour. Imagine this happening at least 10 times a day or more. This caused her not to be able to work and hospital bills have piled up. She needs your help to get back on her feet. She also takes care of 3 daughters and is currently struggling just to survive. Her children have also been affected by her illness, having to see their mother in so much pain all the time affected their lives, they felt so helpless and I know how they feel it has totally devastated all of us having to see our love one in so much pain all the time.Carols disease is rare and has no cure, the spasms literaly leave her in so much pain she cannot move until she takes medication. So far the the medication "nitro tab that is put under the tongue" helps short term. unfortunately the medicine she actually needs would costs $3000.00 for a months supply. My friend Carol is the most caring, unselfish person I know, and I have seen her go from a thriving, fun loving, person who works and took care of her family and friends, to a person that at this time just needs a cure for this unheard of disease. Carol went from 150 pounds to 100 pounds in a mere month. All donations will go directly to Carol and her family and half of the donations "Carols request" to help discover a cure for this disease, Beth Isreal hospital is where Carol would like to donate to create a special fund for a cure. Please help us to start up the program that will find a cure. When I explained to Carol about what I was going to do to try to help her with her growing medical bills she insisted that at least half of the money was some how going for a cure! This is the type of person that she has always been. When she found other people that had the same disease all she could think of is how to help them. This is the kind of person she is, always putting others before herself. She is to proud to ask for help, but if anyone deserves it it is this lovely person to be able to help others and find a cure.
