Christ's Church Rye supports Carpenter's Kids in Tanzania

THE STORY:

Christ's Church has been supporting a group of AIDS orphans who are primary school students in the Village of Makole in central Tanzania for several years. While education is free, for only $70 a year per child, we can provide them with a school uniform, books, shoes, school supplies, a hot breakfast and soap. We have committed to support 43 students for the next 2 years, and any additional funds raised will be used to bring the students gifts and other useful items such as solar powered lamps when Holly and Ellie Simmons visit them this summer.

Any amount you can give will be very welcomed.  However, if you are able to donate $70 (or $140 for 2 years per child) we will send you the name of a child in Makole for whom you can pray.  Please donate here on this site; or if you prefer to write a check payable to Christ's Church (please put Carpenter's Kids in the memo line) you can mail it to:
