Carson's Eagle Scout Project Fundraiser
Organized by: Carson Biber
EVENT DATE Aug 06, 2017
Dear Friends and Family,
An Eagle Scout is always a social service member and is known for his loyalty. As some of you might know, my church organization (St. Francis Borgia Cemetery) is in desperate need of benches for the area where its members are laid to rest. This sacred area currently has a one bench for family and friends to pay their respect and a larger open area where there could be two more benches. My main plan is to place two benches anchored into the ground and create a sanctuary with landscaping. I plan on surrounding the sides of these benches with weed barrier mulch, bushes and some perennials to make it a more welcoming place to pray.
Adding these benches will aid in developing this area and will encourage more families to visit their loved ones. Since I truly feel that family is an important part of my life, I am dedicating this project to my maternal grandparents, Stanley & Eleanor Wikaryasz, my aunt on my father’s side, Terry Lynn Edwards, and my step-grandfather, James “Jake” Gilgenbach. Both Aunt Terry and Grandpa Jake passed away after battling cancer in the last few years.
In order to complete this project, I am looking for donations to reach my $2500 goal to create this special dedication. My campaign has started raising funds for this task but are currently running short. Please contribute as much as you wish for my eagle project so I may build this dedication for special members of my family.
Thank you for all your support.
