The Sunshine House - Brighter Days for the Kids We Love!
Organized by: Savannah Sielbeck
The Sunshine House is a children's home in Cochabamba, Bolivia that cares for children who have been abandoned or rescued from unsafe family situations. The Sunshine House works to care for these children with the goal of one day placing them with lasting families.
Due to financial reasons, Casa de Amor, a children's home located in Cochabamba, Bolivia, had planned on closing this summer. A new administrative board has taken over the home to prevent the children who live there from being split up among various other orphanages. With a fresh start comes a new name, "The Sunshine House."
With many familiar faces among our resident children and their caregivers, we'll also continue CDA's legacy of welcoming new children into our doors who need a place to stay. We work to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our Sunshine House kids until, hopefully, they can be placed with permanent families through reinsertion or adoption.
We are committed to trying to keep the siblings and children of Casa de Amor (most of whom have grown up together,) together and cared for well. The Sunshine House will operate under a united new administration, and we will aim to take the best care of the kids we have grown to love so dearly.
Please email Savannah Sielbeck (firstname.lastname@example.org,) with absolutely any questions in regards to our fundraising efforts. Your donations are tax-deductable, and we are working on obtaining a permanent 501c3 for future donations.
On behalf of the Sunshine House children and staff, thank you for brightening our days with your generosity.
