What does a CASA Advocate Do?
April 06, 2017
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and we want everyone to "Go Blue" for CASA. This month and throughout the year, CASA for Children encourages all individuals and organizations to play a role in making our community a better place for children and families. By ensuring that parents have the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to care for their children, we can help prevent child abuse and neglect by making meaningful connections with children, youth and families in our communities.
You can help us make sure that every abused and neglected child in Atlantic and Cape May Counties can find a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible by joining us and OceanFirst as we engage in our first ever Crowdrise Fundraiser.
Last year, 575 local children had an advocate by their side to help them navigate the turbulent and often frightening foster care system, but there were over 1000 children who needed our help. No child should have to go through this world alone. With your help, we can stand up and speak out for every abused and neglected child in our two counties.
Get started by clicking the Fundraiser button above! Once you set up your own page you can post it on facebook and email the link to friends, family and co-workers to ask them to support your favorite charity- or visit our webpage to Go Blue for CASA.
