Casa de Luz- a food pantry and community resource center operating in the neighborhood known as the Naked City- has reduced crime rates 40-80% in every category since opening our doors in 2009. Not only that, we've FED THOUSANDS OF HUNGRY, helped countless HUNDREDS OF HURTING, and given HOPE TO THE HOPELESS. Basically, we've changed one of Vegas' once-forgotten neighborhoods, along with hundreds of lives, and we want to do it in more places.
Las Vegas needs more houses of light. Las Vegas needs more Casa de Luz. Right now, we have access to property in a neighborhood of great need. We want to open a food pantry and provide enrichment programs for seniors and at-risk youth. Can you help us raise the funds to pay for a small temporary building and the infrastructure we need for our all-volunteer team to bring HELP AND HOPE to another neighborhood desperate for change?
