Ibach and I will be traveling to Panama in less than three weeks and have found a particularly fantastic non profit organization in Panama, Casa Esperanza, that we hope to support. Casa Esperanza was established as an NGO in 1992, with the aim of providing development opportunities for children and adolescents living in poverty. Their main goal is to combat child labor through education, recreational and health-care services.
Its work is supported by 12 members of the Board of Directors , an Executive and 3 Addresses Regional, who dictate the guidelines for its 140 permanent employees, mostly teachers and community workers, 100 teachers and 50 volunteer tutors possible.
Ideally we will take much needed school supplies to the center as well as provide a financial donation to support their services and can use all the help we can get from our friends and family to make this possible.
