BENEFITING: CASEYS HOUSE INC
Casey's House is just that, a small home, a garage, and some chickens set in the beautiful and wild countryside of Bluemont Virgina. What makes this house different from its neighbors is that it is home to many cats who, for a variety of reasons, could no longer be kept by their beloved human companions. Most of the cats are older and considered un-adoptable. Rusty, the orange tabby, whose owner had to travel so much for work, was deaf. My own very crabby 12 year old black cat is there because my new daughter is severely allergic. Cindy, the founder/owner, depends completely on volunteers and donations to take care of her feline residents and also to run the spay/ neuter clinic. So, check out her website, www.caseyshouse.org and if you happen to be in her area with extra cat food in your trunk or some extra cash, it would be greatly appreciated.
