Since I was a little girl, Alice in Wonderland has been one of my favorite stories. Years later, I would be amazed to learn that Lewis Carroll used his own experiences with migraines to create the now famous tale that is still shared around the world. Today, many migraineurs, like myself, use the term 'Alice in Wonderland Syndrome' to describe the visual experiences and crazy hallucinations that may often make you feel as 'Mad as a Hatter.' The last several years, my life has been turned upside down along with my family. We've gone on quite a journey trying to pinpoint and figure out how to cure my migraines, only to be told that there is none. June is Migraine awareness month. Please join me and the 38 million Americans who suffer from this neurological disorder to help bring awareness to migraines and finding a cure.
"I'm not strange, weird, off, nor crazy. My reality is just different from yours." ~Lewis Carroll
