In June of this year, cancer took the life of my loving mother, Mary Ann. She was kind, of quick wit, and could light up any room that she was in. But she was also a fighter. Her doctors told me and my family that they had never seen someone last so long with the severity of cancer that she was fighting.
Today I'm joining countless others who help in the fight against cancer. With your support, you can too. I am raising money for the American Cancer Society by running Rugged Maniac, a 3 mile obstacle race. The race is in under two months, and I'm aiming to raise $1,500 dollars by then. Join me in the fight to beat cancer.

"Never give in, never give in, never, never, never- in nothing great or small, large or petty - never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force, never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." - Winston Churchill
