My husband and I have lived in our home for 5 years. We own 2 cats and were using a laser to play with them. We shot the laser outside and 10 minutes later we had about 5 cats in our backyard. We noticed the cats coming around more frequently, then more cats started showing up. We had no idea were they were coming from but they were multiplying quickly! We've done our best to control the population by catching kittens, socializing them, fostering them, getting them fixed and adopted. Over the last 2 years we have been able to save around 20 kittens!!
We recently had 2 kittens die in our backyard determined that was the last time we wanted to pick up a dead kitten. We have found a local organization that can help us get them fixed at a low-cost clinic.
We estimate that there are around 25 cats that we need to catch; their surgeries will cost $20 each. Any amount helps, $1 per cat, $2 per cat, $5 per cat, sponsor a cat at $20, or donate a flat amount!
Please help us control the cat population in our community!!
