Fundraising Update - Please Read!

Hi everyone! Thank you for checking this out. It's a surprise! So, shhhh. But here's the deal: My fiancée, Catherine Dalton, is an avid runner and supporter of the Alzheimer's Association. Her grandmother suffered in her later years from this tragic disease that takes family members away from us "one memory at a time", so it hits very close to home.
**Run to End Alzheimer's Mission: To promote the elimination of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias through awareness while raising funds for education, support, research and advocacy; to promote brain health through exercise; and to provide support and encouragement for everyday athletes, their families and friends as we work to create a world without Alzheimer’s.**
Catherine has run a handful of marathons, half marathons, 10-milers, etc., but her dream has always been to run in the Boston Marathon. She has an unparalleled love for this city and everything that Boston represents, so it would mean the world to her to be able to check this off her list. To get into the race is extremely difficult, and the fundraising goals are lofty. She looked into running this year (2016) but was intimidated by the $7500 minimum.
As many of you know, we are getting married in October of this year. My plan is to get as close as I possibly can to this goal, through any means necessary, and present it to her on our wedding day. It would be a great way to start our marriage off: with the support of our friends and family, making our dreams come true, and supporting a cause that is so near and dear to our hearts. Thank you all in advance for anything you can offer, I appreciate it more than you know.
