BENEFITING: The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp
EVENT DATE: Jun 13, 2015
We are participating in the Walkway Half Marathon this year in support of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a camp in Ashford, CT founded by Paul Newman for children with serious illnesses. THITWGC serves children and families who are battling illnesses such as cancer, HIV, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, metabolic diseases, and more. It gives children the chance to "raise a little hell" and just be a kid, while still receiving the medical care they need from our incredible staff of doctors and nurses.
The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is more than just a summer camp, though. It now has year-round programs, such as the Hospital Outreach Program, which spans from Philadelphia to Boston, to bring the joy and playful spirit of Camp out into the hospitals and communities when our campers need it the most.
Your support will help The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provide "a different kind of healing" to more than 25,000 children and families battling serious illness annually, completely free of charge.
Thank you in advance for your support!
