BENEFITING: Alley Cat Rescue, Inc.
Despite our efforts to negotiate with officials on supporting a well-established Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, the decision was made that the cats must go!
For the past two years, a dedicated caretaker has been managing a colony of cats at her workplace. When she first started helping the cats, there were 50 individuals, but after implementing TNR, she has reduced the colony down to about 20 cats. No kittens are being born and all cats have been vaccinated.
A sanctuary has agreed to rehome the cats; however, officials will start trapping cats in the next two weeks (as early as Sept 15th), so we must move quickly! Funding is desperately needed in order to save these cats, and even the smallest donation will be a big help.
Each cat will need to be updated on his/her vaccines and will need to be temporarily boarded before being transported to the sanctuary. Funds will also go to help the sanctuary with long-term care for the cats. So please give what you can, these cats are counting us!
