Catt's Irish Dance Competition
Organized by: Crystal Cavalier
After learning Catt had Arthritis in 2009 we had to stop her competition cheer-leading. We have been battling this illness for 5 years and last year it went into medical remission. In 2012, Catt developed Diabetes Type 1. It has been a constant struggle and we are finally able to manage her diabetes.Catt's Juvenile Arthritis is still in medical remission however she does get flare-ups that cause her to go to the hospital for infusion and treatment. We deal with those as they arise but she has been cleared to dance.
Dancing also helps keep her Diabetes Type 1 under control. When she performs, it keeps her mind off her illnesses. We went to the Irish Festivals this spring and she fell in love, ever since March she has been dancing at McGrath Academy here in NOVA in the DMV region. We would love to help raise funds for dance tuition, costume, and entry fees for the entire 2014-2015 year.
We invite you to see her perform in the 2015 FEIS in the DMV area. Let me know if you are interested in attending the performance.
