The Story

CCISD students and teachers need your help to fund some learning programs this Spring -- so the Corpus Christi Education Foundation is hosting this "Adopt-A-Grant" opportunity, where you can "adopt" (donate to) a program of your choice!

Just scroll down to the bottom of this page, and take a look at the creative program ideas submitted by CCISD teachers. Then, please use the donate button on that page (or the one above) to select your favorite program(s) and make a donation in support of that teacher / school / students.

Each Adopt-A-Grant program is hosted by a Team Captain - one of our CCEF Board Members:

  • Christina Cisneros-Guzman - Board Chair
  • Amy McCoy - Secretary
  • Cecil Johnson - Development & Marketing Chair

The Corpus Christi Education Foundation was formed in 1994 by a group of caring and committed citizens with a vision to enhance educational opportunities and student success in Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD). The foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt philanthropic organization.

The Corpus Christi Education Foundation (CCEF) serves and supports the CCISD through financial contributions and volunteer service in ways that promote learning, enrich education and model lifelong success.

The purpose of our organization is to solicit, manage and distribute funds for enrichment purposes in program areas not otherwise funded by our school district. Funding is supplemental and does not replace or alter use of tax-based revenue.
