Join us on Firday September 30th at 9pm to raise money and awareness for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. Tickets are $60/person in advance, $75 at the door. Your ticket includes entrance, food, drinks and donation to the CCFA.
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis (collectively known as IBD), and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Both Crohn's and Ulcerative colitis may affect as many as 700,000 Americans.
What is Crohn’s Disease?
Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract. Crohn’s most commonly affects the end of the small bowel (the ileum) and the beginning of the colon, but it may affect any part of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, from the mouth to the anus.
What is Ulcerative Colitis?
Ulcerative colitis is a chronic disease of the large intestine, also known as the colon, in which the lining of the colon becomes inflamed and develops tiny open sores, or ulcers, that produce pus and mucous.
Although considerable progress has been made in IBD research, investigators do not yet know what causes this disease. Sympoms are managed through medications and life style changes but there is still no cure. Proceeds from the event support the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America enabling the Foundation to fund mission-critical research, education, and support programs. Join us in hepling the Crohn's and Colitis foundation of America fight for a cure!
