BENEFITING: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation
EVENT DATE: Sep 20, 2015
I’ve been involved with Team Challenge, the endurance training program for the Crohn’s and Colitis in San Francisco. Having this opportunity to make a difference in someones life, will give me the drive and determination to achieve my fundraising goal as well as training for this event.
My upcoming Challenge is preparing myself for an olympic triathlon this September 20th 2015 in San Diego. This will be my first triathlon, as i'm looking forward to this challenge!
My goal this year is to raise $5,000, which is less than $1 for every one of the 1.6 million Americans who have been diagnosed with IBD. Sadly, the largest growing segment of diagnosed people are children under the age of 18. I want my effort to make a difference in fighting a disease that affects so many people but I can’t do this alone. I need YOUR help! Your tax deductible donation of $25 or more will help step up the fight against IBD.
Every dollar counts … and I will also accept ice packs, Advil and a personal cheering section! Over 80% of every dollar I raise will directly fund the mission of CCFA to cure Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by IBD
My personal fundraising deadline is September 15. Please help me reach my goal by then!
Thanks in advance for your thoughtfulness and generosity,
P.S. Don’t forget about Matching Gifts! It’s a great way to double the impact of your donation! Here’s the info you need to make sure your matching gift goes to the right place:
