BENEFITING: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation
ORGANIZER: Crohn's Colitis Foundation
I am running the Pittsburgh 1/2 Marathon in honor of my mother, Vikki Busack, who lost her battle with Crohn's Disease fifteen years ago, in March 2000. It is my goal to raise funds for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America to help find a cure for these awful diseases.
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Over 1.4 million Americans are directly impacted by these debilitating diseases. CCFA exists to fund cutting edge research, provide support services and to overall improve the quality of life of those living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
The dollars you raise as a fundraiser through the Pittsburgh Marathon go directly to the local chapter and help CCFA with its mission. We encourage you to learn more, fundraise and join us!
Our team requires a $250 minimum for each participant.
