The specific purposes for which the Foundation has been organized are to:
Promote and encourage the development of the physical fitness and well being of the general public in the metropolitan New Orleans area; publish and communicate to the public the opportunities to participate in activities encouraging the development of physical fitness, and provide resources and logistical support to any organization that provides, supports, or is encouraging physical fitness in the community.
The Foundation meets these goals through public education, conducting demonstration events, and supporting other organizations in their efforts to improve physical fitness. Improved fitness can reduce stress, increase our productivity and enhance our enjoyment of life.
