BENEFITING: COMMUNITY COMPUTER ALLIANCE
Help our community through technology!
Community Computer Alliance (CCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping our community through technology recycling, refurbishment, and donation.
Community Computer Alliance's ability to fulfill its mission is truly dependent on reliable transportation. Community Computer Alliance receives information technology donations from individuals and businesses on a regular basis, but it is primarily the corporate donations that allow CCA to continue its valuable work - CCA picks up donated technology from 8-10 companies each week!
Currently, our van is in much need of service, including fixing the power steering, and we need your help!
More about CCA:
All donated electronics are tested and data-wiped in accordance with information technology asset disposition (ITAD) standards.
Non-refurbishable items are dismantled through CCA's Job Readiness program, which helps members of our community with autism and developmental disabilities obtain skillsets that foster confidence, positive attitudes, and the ability to work with collaboratively others. The components are then recycled, diverting potentially harmful electronic waste (e-waste) from our landfills.
Refurbishable computers become part of CCA's Outreach Program and are donated to other non-profit organizations including after-school programs, domestic violence shelters, and senior citizen facilities.
Community Computer Alliance's mission truly achieves the trifecta of good work, benefitting individuals, the environment, and other nonprofits in the process - your donation will help us continue this great work. We genuinely appreciate your support!
