At CCRI we inspire people to reach their full potential—we do not let a disability define who a person is. Our mission is to enhance and enrich the lives and learning of people with disabilities.
CCRI opens ALL eyes to different possibilities. We help people overcome obstacles by offering unique community opportunities to kids, adults and families affected by disability which are all supported through donations.
Nothing reveals so much about people as how they choose to play- how they spend their time and energy. The people we support are on a limited budget but still deserve this opportunity. So with your support we are able to provide life enhancing opportunities to a unique group of people in our community. Your gift helps people achieve the life THEY want and DESERVE.
Services at CCRI are as unique as each of the people we support. Services we offer are:
- Supported Living Services provides life enriching opportunities to people who need care 24 hours a day. Family members are still involved yet not the primary caretaker. Nurses employed, not contracted, provide the highest quality of care.
- Independence by Design provides custom technology monitoring 24 hours a day, allowing people to live independently while living in a safe environment.
- Options for Independent Living meets the needs and desires of people with disabilities that don’t need support 24 hours a day. They may still live in their family’s home or live independently.
- Mental Health Services helps people with serious mental illness. Our practitioners work toward recovery goals which include stable housing, developing social supports, returning to work and developing healthy lifestyles.
CCRI has provided critical services to people for more than 38 years. Thirteen of our caregivers have been recognized on a state/national level for exceptional service. CCRI is a two time recipient of the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce Non Profit of the Year and was recognized as one of the Top 150 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune.
