Will you help the children?
There are thousands of children living on the streets in Baja, Mexico. A lucky few live in orphanages. I was one of the lucky ones. My siblings and I were fortunate enough to end up in an orphanage where we were provided with the basic necessities of life - food, water, shelter. I will never forget that my life was made possible by the hundreds of generous people that fundraised and contributed so that I could have a chance in life. Today, Corazon de Vida Foundation supports 14 orphanages in Baja, over 800 children that rely on our fundraising efforts to survive.
There are over 50 orphanages (Casa Hogar) located in the state of Baja California, housing children that are orphaned or in need due to neglect, abuse and extreme poverty. These orphanages represent a better alternative than living on the streets or under dangerous and abusive circumstances. There is no government support for these orphanages, as Mexico does not have the same child welfare systems that exist in the US.
Orphanages survive entirely through the generosity of individuals and organizations that have committed to support their work on behalf of the children.
Please help me raise funds to provide life-sustaining support to over 800 children living in orphanages in Baja, Mexico. Any amount makes a difference!
