BENEFITING: City Kids to Wilderness Project
City Kids Wilderness Project (City Kids) is a non-profit organization which annually provides school year and summer programs for 130+ under-resourced and at-risk youth in Washington, DC through long-term engagement and experiential learning.
For over 20 years City Kids has partnered with the NPS to bring over 500 youth to various National Parks around the country, particulalrly Grand Teton National Park.
From backpacking to kayaking, cycling to horse riding, City Kids has been and remains committed to ensuring all youth have access to “America’s Best Idea.”
To celebrate the NPS Centennial City Kids seeks to raise $1,000 specifically to support its summer camp program and City Kids Journey which both leverage the NPS to foster experiential education and outdoor adventure experiences.
A donation of $24 covers one night of camping fees for a student trip in a National Park!
With your support we can make it possible for imaginations to be sparked, academic success to be achieved, self-confidence to grow, and wilderness areas to be explored.
Thanks for your interested and support!
