BENEFITING: CureSearch for Children’s Cancer
I'll never forget when I got the phone call from my sister. I was sitting at my desk at work and just heard my older sister tell me that her 5 year old boy, Teddy, had cancer. My heart sank and my eyes welled up with tears, their lives were going to change forever.
3 and a half years later and Teddy is going strong, having finished taking his chemotherapy medication earlier this year. To celebrate this stage of the victory, I am raising money for Curesearch. We participated with Teddy in a Curesearch walk this summer and it was a moving experience. My sister and brother in law are big fans of the organization, and after participating in their well organized walk and learning more about their work, so am I. Please support their mission to find a cure for children's cancer!
CureSearch for Children’s Cancer is a national non-profit foundation that accelerates the search for cures for children’s cancer by driving innovation, transcending research barriers and solving the field’s most challenging problems. We fight every day to make treatments and cures possible for the 43 children diagnosed with cancer each day. This fundraiser is to raise some money for the organization in celebration of Teddy's success in battling leukemia.
