BENEFITING: FELIDAE CONSERVATION FUND
This year Felidae Conservation Fund celebrates it’s 10 Year Anniversary —10 years of researching and conserving wild cats and their ecosystems. You are a big part of this celebration – Your support and generosity make our important work possible.
Help us reach our goal of $50,000 to continue our important work for wild cats! All donations will be matched!
Ten years ago, we aimed to advance the conservation of wild felids throughout the world. Our multipronged approach combines forward-looking research, education and technology to discover new approaches to felid conservation, and reach worldwide audiences through extensive outreach and social media.
Why Cats? The threats facing wild cats—habitat loss, road kill, poaching, and poisoning—stem from human-wildlife conflict. Our research and education efforts move to address these threats with solutions rooted in science. In particular, our flagship project, the Bay Area Puma Project, conducts extensive research coupled with education and outreach to the community to promote co-existence.
The 10 Year Anniversary also coincides with the next phase of the Bay Area Puma Project. Stay tuned as we announce details in the coming months!
