T.Schreiber Theatre is pleased to announce the 2014-2015 Season and celebrate 45 years!
While we are savoring the moment we are also looking to the future and the next 45 years. We are reaching out to our theatre family, friends and even our own families and friends, to help raise money for this celebratory season and ensure we can continue producing award winning performances at affordable prices.
Thanks to people like you, we have had over Four Decades of successful productions enjoyed by many, who may not have been otherwise able to afford seeing new, as well as, revival performances.
We are starting the season with a revival of Brian Friel’s Philadelphia, Here I Come, directed by Jake Turner. In March, there will be a month of premiers beginning with Natural Life by, Eduardo Lopez (2013 New Works Project Winner), followed by another round of “Schreiber’s Shorts: Freedom”, an evening of short plays that explore the idea of freedom. And finally in the spring Terry Schreiber, yes THE Terry Schreiber, will be directing Summer and Smoke by Tennessee Williams.
T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre has been offering actors both an artistic home in which to develop and collaborate with one another, and a place to display their artistry to the public, for nearly half a century. Many professional actors and playwrights have honed their craft in this theater and allowed the T. Schreiber stage to provide continued excellence in Off-Off Broadway theatre.
