It wasn't that long ago that growing food for one's family was the norm. Most back yards had gardens, and many people still lived on the family farm. This has changed over the last several decades. The farm leaves the family, and the grocery store is more convenient. We lose touch with how our food is produced.
Local food systems are especially important for creating opportunities for rural people. Growing your own food should be an option for everyone. We provide the resources and education needed for people to grow their own food and support their families and local economies.
Newman’s Own Foundation supports our work developing local food systems within underserved communities. We’re aiming to raise another $20,000 to support this work, but we can only do it with your support. Will you make a donation of $20, $50, $100, or whatever you can do to help?
