THE STORY:

CAVA is a Social Enterprise spawned at my small glass art studio in Huntington , IN. After three years of creating re-purposed glass things, selling them and taking part of the proceeds to support the local Vet Center with food gift cards, I was inspired to do more. As the bells rang and the light bulbs flashed I had the vision to create an active environment for like Military Veteran artists & artisans. As a Vet myself , I have become dedicated to sharing my expertise and skills with fellow Veterans. So here we go!! The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise the funds to procure a larger facility in Ft Wayne, IN, buy supplies and conduct daily operations. CAVA is a 3 component project consisting of a Gallery, Gallery Shop and Activity Center,The Gallery and Gallery shop will be the public side and the Activity Center will be used by Veteran Associates and will be equipped with tools , art supplies and materials. In addition, the facility will be made available for various classes, seminars and programs ( such as art therapy) specifically for the Veterans. Of course we are legally and officially organized but, it's really simple.......we are building a community of artists and artisans with a purpose. As a Social Enterprise all proceeds are used to advance the center or donated to other Veteran Projects. We operate without judgement or prejudice , collaborating our talents to help and provide for the Veteran community. So, feel free to lend a helping hand as you see fit........we will raise our glasses to you with thanks! Help some Vets help some Vets.... Thank you !
