I am running in memory of two very special members of the Challenge Aspen Family. Chris Bove was a beloved Challenge Aspen instructor and friend who helped so many members of the Challenge Aspen community. Will Johnson, my friend and former co-worker's son, had Down Syndrome by never allowed the diagnosis to limit his achievements or the goals he pursued. Both of these men continue to inspire me to be a better, more thoughtful, kind and loving human-being.
Since 1995 Challenge Aspen has been dedicated to providing recreational, cultural & educational program for people living with disabilities. Our Co-Founders believed that access, community and participation were the keys to healing and establishing rewarding lives for those with disabilities. Challenge Aspen has carried those ideals forward and continues to connect, encourage and inspire those with physical and cognitive disabilities and those who are privileged enough to work with them. Challenge Aspen is helping to break through barriers, helping individuals gain the self-esteem and confidence needed to lead fulfilling, productive lives.
Please donate to support Challenge Aspen programs! All donations are 100% tax deductible, and will make a difference in the lives of individuals living with disabilities and their family members. Thank you.
