The CHAM Deliverance Ministry has seen homelessness up close and personal for the last fifteen years. We have run shelters for families and singles, we have served thousands of meals, we have worked with the mayor and local government to create housing solutions, and we have always done outreach to the homeless on the streets.
Currently, there are more than 7,000 who are homeless in San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley, and this winter, our outreach teams want to bring basic items to those living in encampments along river beds, under bridges and in the parks--those literally "living on the streets."
Last winter, CHAM passed out more than 6,000 emergency blankets to the homeless and more were needed. This year, resources are running low, and we need your help to amass and distribute blankets, food, tarps, toiletries, backpacks and other items the homeless need in order to survive the streets. Our outreach teams will ensure that these items reach the people who are out there.
CHAM is a non-profit, religious organization that was founded in 1997. Please look us up on google or check out our website: www.cham-ministry.org, or find us on facebook, CHAM Deliverance Ministry.
Anything you give will help. CHAM knows how to do a lot with a little. God Bless you and yours this new year.
