BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to report mission accomplished! Drew can soon roll with the wind in his very own Team Hoyt Custom chair! Your help will soon allow him to experience the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", the fearlessness of the athletes, the normalcy of the family, and the love we all have for each other is a therapy like no other. I am excited to see this for Drew and his family! We will know turn out attention to helping Drew's friend Stephen get a chair too!
Update message from Drew's Mom:
The chair has been ordered, you all have given and it has been funded!!! We can't even keep up with all the thank yous!! I am speechless (it doesn't happen much). I am filled with emotion and my eyes can no longer blink back the tears of so many feelings! Thank you isn't enough, but it's what we have to offer right now....I just talked to Mike at Team Hoyt Running Chairs to discuss paint colors, sizing and some options and BAM! we are ready to order. What do we say to our heros?!? Those of you who have stood by us for over 6 years now, praying, giving your time, meals (awesome cooking), gifts of service and offerings. We are overwhelmed. More info to come and pictures of course in due time!!! Ainsleys Angels, YEAH! *\0/*
Original message from Drew's Mom:
I do believe that God's timing is always perfect, even when I don't understand. We've watched the Ainsley's Angels and Team Hoyt videos with excitement and tears, that pain/joy mix you understand so well when there is beauty from ashes. It is how we live our lives as well. Drew is about 6' tall with long legs and we feel like he will need the custom chair to fit him. We have been blessed with a fantastic summer assistant who is a nursing student that runs. Drew is crazy about her and yes she's cute :) and kind, compassionate and very competitive as an athlete. She loves running and walks with him 5-6 miles 3 days per week. She would love to run with him and her friends are already making requests, what guy doesn't want that! Since I didn't see Indiana listed as one of the locations for Ainsley's Angels, it looks like when Drew gets his chair we might need someone to get that one organized ;) Thank you all and we invite everyone to enjoy this video about Drew's journey.
