Ainsley's Angels of America is super excited to be spreading awareness through activism and education and honored to celebrate Jackson!
Jackson was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congentia, essentially he has a lack of muscles and tight joints. He loves going fast, but because of his mobility limitations, the only way for him to do that is with someone pushing him. Through an unfolding of events, our family came to Anisley's Angels and over a weekend in January 2016, Jackson was able to run and really feel the wind on his face for the first time! He was in love! He's been bitten by the running bug and wants to run every race he hears about. Getting his own custom built chair would allow Jackson comfort during long races, due to his stiff joints; he can become uncomfortable in certain positions after a long period of time, allow us to take him on runs around our neighborhood and allow him the freedom to feel the wind in his face. The racing chair would allow Jackson to feel a part of his community and help build his confidence even more----we've already seen him trying new things that will lead to independence after just 2 races! He turns 9 in a few weeks and has 4 more races planned, we would love to celebrate with starting his own custom chair!
