Ainsley's Angels of America is super excited to be spreading awareness through activism, education, and through our Racing Chair Grant program.
Enjoy this #StoryBehindTheBib from Carlos about why he aims to “Make something move” for TEAM JENSEN:
My Name is Carlos Vila (US Army Retired) during the past years I discovered one of my former Soldiers Son Chase 6yr Old with Cerebral Palsy. Mathew Jensen (his dad) was always known as a runner within my Platoon not just a runner but an avid runner. During the past months I've seen Matts love and interaction with Chase to top this off, in our Army Training we saw the Team Hoyt Video. I immediately thought about my Soldier and how much more time he would spend with Chase. What will this Chair mean for me?
For me, to be able to see my Soldier share more quality time with his son Chase. For Team Jensen, I believe it would be one way to give back to my Soldier and his Son - TIME !, Time to spend with his Child, that same time he gave unselfishly to his fellow Soldiers, to me as his Platoon Sergeant and to this Great Nation. "Nothing happens until Something Moves" Soldier for Life ! ---Carlos Vila
