BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to announce we are going to be shipping Gabe's chair to him in the coming days! Your generosity made this happen and now Gabe and his Mom, Liz, have decided to keep the page open with a goal of getting more chairs shipped to Gabe's community to allow his friends to run with him! Having experienced 75 race with my sweet Ainsley, I know that the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", and the love we all have for each other is a therapy like no other....Gabe's community is in for a wonderful ride!
Here is a note from Gabe:
At 35 yrs old, I have been inspired by wonderful friend Nancy. She connected me with my running buddy Brooks. It is my goal to be able to run in my own 5k race. Being able to have a running chair would mean the world to me. It would enable me to reach my goal. I have a passion for all people and I love making new friends. I enjoy being out in my community meeting new people and enjoying the beauty of my town. I like going on walks but would love to go faster. Feel the wind on my face as I am running along the river. Having a running chair would allow me to live a healthier lifestyle by exercising. I haven't always been able to do all the things I would love to do but my mom has always made sure that I have had many exciting experiences and adventures in my life. Having a running chair would only add to my awesome adventures. My ultimate goal is to encourage others that depend on wheelchairs to get involved with our community, So we can all Run, Walk & Roll together.
