BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
With your generosity, we are certain this can happen soon! As the father of two very special girls that have raced together with me for years, I know the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", the fearlessness of the athletes, and the normalcy of the family is a therapy like no other.
A message from Gavin’s Dad:
"Hello, my name is Kevin Shuler. My wife, Laura, and I have three amazing children. My oldest child, Gavin, has Cerebral Palsy. He used to participate in soccer and other sports and activities when he was younger but due to declining motor skills, Gavin has been limited to watching from the sidelines. Even with his disability, Gavin never gives up or quits trying to be a part of what his friends and sisters are doing, whether it is playing outside or watching his good friends play his favorite sport of football. We have been looking for another way of allowing Gavin to feel like any other normal boy and return some of the freedom and independence he once enjoyed. After watching videos of Team Hoyt competing in races, Gavin and I found the perfect activity for us to compete together in and be an inspiration to others as Team Hoyt has been for us. With your donation, we can get a Team Hoyt racing chair that will not only allow Gavin and I to bond and compete against other runners, but will also allow Gavin to participate in a sport again."
So, YES, YOU CAN, donate 10, 20 or 50 dollars right now to ensure the thrill of rolling with the wind and crossing a road race finish line!
