BENEFITING: Charleston Regional Spay Neuter Center Inc.
EVENT DATE: Jun 01, 2016
The Charleston Regional Spay Neuter Center’s mission is to provide high-quality, high-volume, affordable spay/neuter services as a humane, sustainable solution to the overpopulation of cats and dogs in our region. In alliance with our mission, we are dedicated to promoting spay/neuter and educating the community on its benefits.
Our vision is to end the euthanasia of adoptable cats and dogs and to minimize the number of abandoned cats and dogs in our communities.
Over 14,000 adoptable pets were euthanized in shelters in our service area in 2015 alone. We want to help reduce this number.
Our clinic will serve a 23-county area, comprised of some of the most rural and poor counties. Most of these counties have no access to affordable spay/neuter services.
We follow the guidance of the ASPCA's Humane Alliance model as we look for a suitable property to house the Charleston Regional Spay Neuter Center. We have significant financial committments from county and city governments, and anticipate grant funding to furnish many needed clinical supplies.
We need a building to house the clinic. If we can secure a building this year, we can begin a capital campaign.
Help us meet our $20,000 goal. Give the largest amount you can, and share our campaign with your friends.
