ADOPT A BOXER RESCUE via Crowdrise
August 22, 2012
In high school, Charli
e took two PT classes, long distance running, back to back. Flash forward 35 years and Charlie still running and adopted and foster boxers through AABR! In 2010, Charlie completed his 5th ING NYC Marathon. Almost immediately following, he was the victim of a hit and run in Brooklyn. He was left for dead. Doctors did an excellent job and after a year and with a 7 inch metal plate in his leg, Charlie will be running the 2012 Marathon! Through a personal donation, we were able to keep our home and our lives moving forward. We know firsthand the importance of a charitable donation!
This November, as Charlie runs his 6th ING NYC Marathon, he is committed to raise funds for the Adopt-a-Boxer Rescue, a volunteer organization that depends on donations to pay vet bills, find new homes for loving dogs and saves boxers from untimely, painful deaths.
Charlie’s goal is to raise $10,000 – that’s only a donation of $25 from 400 dog lovers like YOU!
