BENEFITING: CURE CMD

Charlie Dague

THE STORY:

This campaign is for our son Charlie and all other children suffering from various forms of Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. Charlie is in most respects a typical 5 year old boy who loves to play with his friends, buy games on his I-Pad, and is excited about starting kindergarten in the fall. Unfortunately he was born with a rare neuromuscular disorder causing serious muscle weakness and has been in a wheelchair since age 2. We're told that if a cure or viable treatment isn't found, his condition will decline until his heart or lungs fail.

All proceeds from this campaign will be donated to Cure CMD, the only national charitable organization with the sole mission of funding research to find a cure for this rare group of disorders. Since it's inception in 2008, Cure CMD has already funded over $1 million in research grants, including the first ever stem cell research on Charlie's particular form - LMNA-CMD. We know first hand the great work this organization does and the amount of hope they provide is immeasurable.

Please join us by setting up your own page and helping us reach our goal!! If you set up a page and raise $100 or more we will enter you to win one of the following amazing prizes (ipad, trip, etc) and for every $50 you make on top of that your name will name will be entered again. For everyone who donates $10 or more to your page, they will be also be entered to win one of three great prizes ($100 gcs? gift basket??) If they donate $20 they will be entered 2 times, $30, 3 times, etc.

Thank you so much for helping us raise funds for a cure and please spread the word!
