THE STORY:

COME JOIN US ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18TH FROM 10:30AM - 2:30 PM

SEA BLUFF BEACH IN WEST HAVEN, CT

2ND ANNUAL "CHARLOTTE'S LITTER COMFORT DOG WALK-A-THON." 

The 1-mile walk-a-thon will be held on Saturday, October 18th, from 10:30am – 2:30pm at Sea Bluff Beach in West Haven, CT. This is where Charlotte’s playground was built. At the event, attendees will learn learn more about Charlotte’s Litter, while speaking with the Bacon family, school officials and program recipients about:

  • Book Publications- “Good Dogs, Great Listeners” and “The Dogs Of Newtown."
  • Animal assisted therapy - Grounding breaking results on literacy and psychosocial support.
  • K9 First Responders- Newtown Kindness and Pet Partners teams complete a significant training goal.

Help Newtown Kindness Walkers and their friends to raise $30,000 to support the 
Program. Sponsor a mile as each walker, the therapy/comfort dog and their trainer stroll the Sea Bluff Beach.

Donations can be done by ¼ mile in $5 increments. $20 for a full mile donation. Funds for the day split in thirds (2/3 to “Charlotte’s Litter” Program and
1/3 to Newtown Kindness).
