BENEFITING: Charter For Compassion International
On May 19th, 2013, the Dalai Lama endorsed the Compassionate Cities movement!
Help us create a network of 100 Compassionate Cities by 2015-- communities where all -- mayors & city councils, teachers & students, businesspeople of all kinds, healthcare workers, sanitation engineers, cops & philosophers, poets & dreamers, bloggers & jet pilots & car mechanics & childcare specialists, moms & dads & kids of all shapes and sizes -- are committed to bringing the principles of the Charter for Compassion to life.
A Compassionate City is one where the civic government, the religious and volunteer organizations, the businesses, the community and its educational institutions come together to recognize the importance and value of compassion in the life of a city and by doing so create an ethos of compassion and a safety net for its most vulnerable citizens.
Your donation will help us create a platform for people around the globe to commucate and collaborate, sharing inspiration, stories, lessons learned, resources, and excitement!
