Getting outdoors is beneficial for both your mind and body. Whether it’s hiking, canoeing or just going for a quiet walk, being surrounded by nature is important to your health and well-being.
The Chattahoochee Nature Center is the interpretive center of the Chattahoochee River. Located in Roswell, CNC provides a wide range of educational and conservation programs, such as wildlife rehabilitation, summer camps, and a community garden, teaching students from more than 400 metro Atlanta schools to be good stewards of our natural resources.
With 127 acres of woodland along the river, CNC offers unparalleled access to nature in wooded trails, canoe trips and the natural world, all just minutes from Atlanta. As a wildlife rehabilitation center CNC is home to over 50 species of injured, non-releasable wildlife.
We encourage visitors to be the future guardians of nature, being a part of the solution to preserve our environment.
